Overview[]
The 1895-96 season was Fulham's 14th of playing football and was the last before settling at Craven Cottage the following season. The club were initially without a ground once again in the close season, and fierce rivals Stanley F.C. allowed Fulham to share their home ground, Captain James' Field situated near Halford Road in West Brompton whilst the ongoing preparations were being sorted at Craven Cottage.
It was the final season in which Fulham were not playing league football, though the club continued to participate in the Middlesex Senior Cup and London Senior Cup competitions, reaching the third round in both.
