Overview [ ]
The 2012-13 season was Fulham's 131st, and the club's 12th consecutive season in the Premier League. Martin Jol remained in charge to start his second campaign at Fulham . Changes for the start of the 2012-13 season included a new roof built for the Johnny Haynes stand at Craven Cottage , also with an application to Hammersmith & Fulham council to approve an extension of just below 5,000 seats to the Riverside stand, which would take the stadiums capacity to 30,000. This was granted by the council on 26th July. Also of note was a revamp in the teams structuring of the club; a new Under-21 squad would replace the former Development squad with Kit Symons appointed as coach, and the Under-18 squad appointing Steve Wigley as their coach as well as Academy head of coaching. The club was also awarded Category One status, meaning their academy setup was among the best in the country.
