Adam Taggart is a forward who was at Fulham from 2014 until 2016. He had gained several Australia caps prior to his move to Craven Cottage desite his young age and had proved himself as a top goalscorer in the A-League before his switch. Injury stunted his progression and after a season and a half and a failed spell at Dundee United on loan, he left in January 2016 to his former club Perth Glory without making a first team appearance for Fulham.

Fulham (2014-2016)[]

Adam's deal was announced on 24 June 2014 for an undisclosed fee thought to be £220,000, with his contract officially starting from 1 July. He had just come off the back of a World Cup exit with Australia and a successful domestic campaign for Newcastle Jets but unfortunately for Adam, after only a small amount of game time during pre-season he sustained a groin injury. This was thought to be only minor at first but as it transpired Adam eventually undertook surgery to correct the problem. He made his return and his first competitive match for the U21 squad in a 3-2 victory away against West Ham U21 in the Premier League International Cup.

After spending pre-season with the first team at the start of 2015-16, Adam was sent on loan to Dundee United for the season. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best of spells for Adam and he returned to the club after making 7 appearances and failing to score a goal. In January 2016, it was announced that he had made a permanent move back to his native Australia at former club Perth Glory.
