Albert Soar was an outside right, formerly of Fulham. He was described in 1905 as 'A skilful ball-player whose every touch spoke eloquently of his ability'. Speedy and clever, he was a little on the light side and took a lot of punishment from opposing full backs. He was forced to retire at the age of 27 due to injury whilst at Watford, however he did make a return as an amateur in 1909.
