Anthony Knockaert played for Fulham from 2019 until 2023. A winger comfortable on either flank, he was brought in by Scott Parker in July 2019 initially on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The move was made permanent a year later but he failed to make many appearances after this. He represented France up to U21 level.

Career

Fulham (2019-2023)

Anthony signed for Fulham on 21 July 2019, on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion with an option to buy at the end of the term. A loan fee of £4 million was also attached to the deal. After spending the majority of 2019-20 as a loanee, he was eventually signed permanently late in the season for a reported fee of £10.5 million.

After struggling to make the first team the following season in the Premier League, Anthony was loaned out to Nottingham Forest on a loan deal that initilly ran from mid-October until January 2021, which was then later extended until the end of the 2020-21 season.

Not a part of Marco Silva's plans, Anthony was sent out on a season-long loan to Greek side Volos for 2022-23, but this deal was terminated in January 2023 as he went on another loan to Huddersfield Town in the Championship, playing out the season with them instead.

In the summer of 2023, the club took up the option to extend Anthony's contract for another year for reasons unknown. Despite this, the club looked to sell him, and not finding any suitors - allowed him to leave on a free transfer after the closing of the transfer window to Valenciennes in Ligue 2.

After Fulham

Anthony signed for Valenciennes on 2 September 2023 on a one year deal with the option to extend for another. However, the following summer he announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 32.
