Belgian players at Fulham[]
To date, there have been a total of six Belgian players to have been at Fulham, with four of these who have represented Belgium at full international level. Five of these players have played for the first team. These numbers include those who have switched international allegiance either whilst at or since leaving the club.
Philippe Albert became the first Belgian to play for the club in the 1998-99 season when he was loaned to the club from Newcastle United, and it wasn't until 2010 when Mark Hughes brought in the skilful Mousa Dembélé to the club that the second Belgian joined. Despite joining as a centre forward, he went on to flourish under Martin Jol as a central midfielder and eventually joined Tottenham Hotspur for £16.7 million in August 2012.
Denis Odoi was perhaps not amongst one of the best defenders that the club has ever seen, but he was certainly one of the most likeable, and became a cult hero during his time at Craven Cottage from 2016 to 2022. He played an international friendly for his native Belgium in 2012, but switched allegiances to Ghana in 2022 after leaving the club and earned international caps for them.
