Bernd Leno is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Fulham. Signed in August 2022 under the reign of Marco Silva, he is an experienced German international who has made over 200 appearances in both the Bundesliga and the Premier League.

Fulham (2022-present)[]
Bernd signed for Fulham on 2 August 2022 for an upfront fee of £3 million, plus £5 million in add-ons. The add-on clauses were; £1 million for reaching a number of Premier League appearances, £2 million for avoiding relegation for one season and an extra £2 million for avoiding relegation for a second season.
He made his debut three matches into the league season in a 3-2 win over West London rivals Brentford on 20 August 2022. Despite some fantastic performances, it took until his ninth appearance to earn his first clean sheet for the club; a 3-0 victory at home to Aston Villa on 20 October 2022.
Bernd enjoyed a fantastic first season with Fulham, playing a big part in helping them achieve a 10th placed finish in the Premier League. It was announced on 13 December 2023 that he had signed a new contract with the club which would run until 2027 with the option to extend a further year.
On Boxing Day 2023, Bernd managed to avoid punishment after a 3-0 loss at Bournemouth, after he was seen to push a ballboy who was slow in handing him the ball.
He was handed the number 1 shirt ahead of the 2024-25 season due to Marek Rodák leaving for the middle east, in addition to becoming the vice-captain due to the departure of Tim Ream.
