Bobby Zamora was a striker, formerly of Fulham. He joined the club in the summer transfer window of 2008 from West Ham United along with John Pantsil in a joint deal and stayed for three and a half years, leaving for rivals Queens Park Rangers in January 2012. He was instrumental in the clubs 2009-10 Europa League success in which Fulham were runners-up in which was his best season for the club. This culminated in him gaining his first cap for England at the age of 29 in August 2010 - over 5 years since the last player for Fulham to win an England cap, Zat Knight. Despite a relatively poor first season in front of goal, Bobby was a player who was good at holding up the ball and bringing others into play when attacking.
