Dennis Adeniran played as a midfielder for Fulham from 2011 until 2017. A hot prospect within the club, Dennis had progressed through the age groups at Fulham through to the first team, making his debut in 2016-17 in a League Cup tie at Leyton Orient - scoring the first goal and becoming the clubs youngest goalscorer in a competitive match at the time. He has represented England up to U19 level.
Dennis signed a scholarship deal with the club in July 2014 and progressed from the U18 squad to the U21 squad just over a season. After spending pre-season with the first team in 2016-17, he made his professional debut in a League Cup tie away to Leyton Orient on 9 August 2016 aged 17, scoring the opening goal in a 3-2 victory. This beat a record of youngest goalscorer for Fulham in competitive competition, topping Tony Mahoney's record (by 151 days) which had stood for nearly 40 years. This record, however, was beaten only 11 days later when Ryan Sessegnon scored his first league goal at the age of 16. After making another two appearances in the League Cup, Dennis made his league debut when he came on as a late substitute in a 1-1 draw away to Nottingham Forest.
On deadline day during the summer transfer window, he signed a permanent deal with Everton.
After Fulham[]
After failing to break into the first team in his first two seasons at Goodison Park, Dennis was sent out on loan for the duration of 2020-21 to newly-promoted Championship side Wycombe Wanderers, in order to gain valuable first team experience.
In the summer of 2021, his contract with Everton came to an end and he was released by the club. Shortly afterwards, Dennis signed with Sheffield Wednesday in League One.
Dennis moved to Portugal in 2023 to join Portimonense on a three year contract, but after only making one league appearance for the first team, he signed for Israeli club Hapoel Petah Tikva on 31 January 2024 on a short term deal with the option of extending a further two years.
