Another set-piece, this time crossed from the right, Demichelis headed towards goal and Stekelenburg palmed out only as far as Vincent Kompany, who poked the ball home 1-2: Kieran Richardson scored his first goal in nearly a year after a fantastic break from Fulham. Great work from Adel Taarabt up the left flank eventually found Richardson unmarked as he played a cross pass for him for an easy finish 2-2: Rather deservedly, Fulham drew level half-way through the second half after a comical own goal by Man City captain Vincent Kompany.
