Gaël Kakuta played for Fulham in 2011, on loan from Chelsea. A left footed winger, he joined as a 19 year-old for the tailend of the 2010-11 season. Born in France, he chose to represent DR Congo internationally in 2017 and has earned a number of caps for them.

Gaël was signed on 26 January 2011 in a loan deal that would run until the end of the 2010-11 season. He made his debut a week later, coming off the bench during a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at Craven Cottage.
After just seven appearances and only two starts, he left the club in the summer of 2011. He scored one goal, in a 3-0 win away at Sunderland.
