Harvey Elliott played for Fulham as a right winger from his early years until 2019. A player with much potential, he made his debut with the first team squad aged 15, becoming the club's youngest ever player. He left to join Liverpool the following summer.
Harvey broke through into the U18 squad in 2017-18 despite only being 14 years-old, and the following year he was rewarded by travelling with the first team squad to Murcia in Spain for a friendly match with Indian side ATK.
On 25 September 2018, Harvey smashed the club record for the youngest ever player to represent the first team in a professional fixture, at 15 years and 174 days. He came off the bench to replace Floyd Ayité in the 81st minute during a 3-1 victory at Millwall in an EFL Cup tie. He had technically made his professional debut the previous week as he came on as a substitute during an EFL Trophy tie at Wycombe Wanderers for the Under-23 squad.
He became the youngest player to play in the Premier League towards the end of 2018-19, after coming on in a 1-0 loss away to Wolves. He was 16 years and 30 days old, which broke the previous Premier League record held by former Fulham player Matthew Briggs.
After Fulham[]
Harvey was signed by Liverpool on 28 July 2019. Due to him being under the age of 17, the transfer fee was eventually settled by tribunal over 18 months later, announced on 11 February 2021 for a fee of £4.3 million.
