Jean Michaël Seri played for Fulham from 2018 until 2022. A creative central midfielder, he is a fantastic passer of the ball as well as maintaining posession for the team. He was signed by Fulham amid interest from big European clubs at the time upon the clubs promotion back into the Premier League in the summer of 2018 for a club record fee of £27 million.

Career

Fulham (2018-2022)

Jean signed for Fulham on 12 July 2018 for a club record fee, thought to be in the region of £27 million. He made his debut in a 2-0 loss at home to Crystal Palace in the Premier League opener. Two weeks later, he score the opening goal in a 4-2 win at home to Burnley with a long range effort to score his first goal for the club. This goal later won the August 2018 Goal of the Month award for both the Premier League and BBC's Match of the Day.

After an impressive start to his Fulham career, his performances seemed to tail off as the 2018-19 season reached its ugly conclusion with the club getting relegated back to the Championship, and many fans saw his signing as a poor one due to the amount of money spent on getting him to the club.

He was loaned out to Galatasaray for the whole of 2019-20, and upon his return to Fulham, made two surprise appearances in the EFL Cup during the beginning of 2020-21. However, he failed to even make the 25-man squad registered for Fulham's Premier League campaign and played no more football until he eventually moved to Bordeaux on loan on 30 January 2021 for the rest of the season.

He made his first League start for Fulham in well over two years on 14 August 2021 as he played the majority of a 5-1 win away at Huddersfield Town in the Championship under Marco Silva. From this match on, he was a mainstay in the centre of midfield throughout the 2021-22 season.

He scored his second and final goal of his Fulham career when netting during a Fulham 7-0 Luton Town (2021-22 Championship)7-0 thrashing of Luton Town at Craven Cottage as they secured the Championship title.

Jean was surprisingly released at the end of the 2021-22 season.

After Fulham

Jean signed for Championship side Hull City, where he stayed for two seasons, later moving to Saudi Arabia in 2024 to join Al-Orobah.
