Josh joined Fulham as a schoolboy at aged eight.
Fulham (2015-present)[]
Joining the academy at eight years old in 2015, Josh progressed through the age groups and integrated into to the U18 squad aged just 15, when he was selected as part of a 19-man squad to travel to Switzerland for the FC Aesch U19 Tournament.
He made his official debut for the U18's on 3 September 2022, as he played the full 90 minutes in a 4-2 loss away at West Ham U18 in the U18 Premier League Cup.
A little over a year later, Josh made his U21 debut and marked it with a goal in a 4-0 win against Leicester City in a Premier League Cup match at Motspur Park.
He was an unused substitute for the first team on 3 February 2024 in a 2-2 draw away to Burnley in the Premier League. Manager Marco Silva clearly saw first team oppertunities for Josh as he was then taken to Portugal for the first team's pre-season preparations in early August 2024. He started in a 1-0 win over Benfica at the Estádio Algarve on 2 August 2024.
Josh was handed the number 24 shirt ahead of the 2024-25 season, and made his first team debut on 27 August 2024, coming on as a second half substitute during a 2-0 win in an EFL Cup second round match away at Birmingham City. After being an unused substitute on several occasions in Premier League fixtures, he finally made his league debut on 5 December 2024, coming on in the 81st minute of a 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Craven Cottage.
He became the second-youngest starter in Fulham's Premier League history]] when he made his full debut on 22 December 2024, playing 62 minutes of a 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage against Southampton.
Amid concerns among Fulham fans that he may look for a move elsewhere, Josh commited his future to the club in the summer of 2025, signing a four-yeal deal. Beginning the season as Marco Silva's preferred starting 'number 10', Josh was at the centre of controversy during a 2-0 loss at Chelsea when he saw what was seen by fans and pundits alike, a perfectly legitimate goal chalked off through a poor VAR decision. However, he did score his first goal for the first team several weeks later during a 1-1 draw at Wycombe Wanderers in an EFL Cup tie which saw the Whites go through on penalties.
