Kay Voser is a defender who was at Fulham from 2014 until 2016. He played as either a right back or left back and was signed in the summer of 2014 from Basel by Felix Magath and has represented Switzerland at U21 level. After failing to break into the first team following sporadic appearances, his contract was terminated by mutual consent on 1 February 2016.
Kay signed for Fulham on 2 July 2014 ahead of pre-season. After a relatively successful pre-season, Kay had to wait until the fourth League match of the season for his official debut, as he came on in a heavy 5-1 defeat away to Derby County on 23 August 2014. Shortly afterwards, first team manager Felix Magath was sacked as Fulham manager and Kit Symons stepped up to take charge of the side. Unfortunately for Kay he was not in the manager's plans and was kept out of first team action for the entire season.
However, with Kostas Stafylidis returning after his loan had finished and Fernando Amorebieta with a long-term injury and a future possibly elsewhere, this left the club short on left back options. Despite Kay being mainly a right full back, he played a large part in pre-season 2015-16 and Kit Symons utilised him as a left back. Luke Garbutt was brought in on loan from Everton but was injured for 6 weeks on his debut in the last pre-season friendly against Crystal Palace, which left Kay to play in his first match in nearly a year in the season opener in a 1-1 draw away at Cardiff City.
