Kevin Mbabu is a right back who played for Fulham from 2022 until 2024. Signed under Marco Silva, he is an attack-minded full back and a Swiss international since 2018. He failed to make an impression at the club and left after making only 7 appearances for the first team.

Career

Fulham (2022-2024)

Kevin's signature was announced by the club on 27 July 2022, for an undisclosed fee reported to be £6.4 million. He made his debut in the second league match of the season on 13 August 2022; a 0-0 draw away at Wolverhampton Wanderers as a late substitute.

The following week, he once again came on as a second half substitute, this time sending in a cross for Aleksandar Mitrović to convert a stoppage time winner in a 3-2 win over West London rivals Brentford at Craven Cottage.

Unfortunately for Kevin, things did not work out for him from that moment on, and manager Marco Silva began to not include him from the squad, instead turning to attacker Bobby Decordova-Reid to deputise for Kenny Tete in the right back spot instead.

He was sent on loan to Servette on 13 February 2023 for the rest of the 2022-23 season. This was followed up with another loan move on 1 September 2023; this time to Augsburg for the whole of 2023-24.

After Fulham

Kevin left the club on the final day of the 2024 summer transfer window, moving to Danish side Midtjylland on a free transfer, though Fulham retained a 50% sell-on clause.
