Manor Solomon played for Fulham on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2022-23 season as a left winger. He was signed after a FIFA ruling which allowed Ukrainian based foreign players to suspend their contract with parent clubs, due to an ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Career

Fulham (2022-2023)

After spending pre-season training with the club, Manor's signature was announced by Fulham on 25 July 2022, with the transfer officially taking place on 1 August 2022.

He made his debut in the Premier League opener against Liverpool on 6 August 2022, as he came on as a second half substitute during a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage. In making this appearance, he became the first Israeli player to play for the first team.

Unfortunately the following day in a training match, he suffered a bad knee injury which required surgery and was out for a large portion of the start of the season. He was the out of action for five months, returning off the bench on 7 January 2023 in a 2-0 win away to Hull City in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

He scored his first goal for Fulham on 11 February 2023, netting the second late on in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage. Manor would then go on to achieve a remarkable feat of scoring in five successive matches.
