Marcello Trotta was a striker who played for Fulham from 2009 until 2015. A consistent goalscorer who had made appearances for the Italian U21 team, Marcello had previously been on the books of Man City and Napoli, before signing professional terms in the 2011-12 season. After impressing in a loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers, he made his Fulham debut in the FA Cup against Everton on 27th January 2012, coming on for Danny Murphy in the 87th minute. A league debut followed two months later against Bolton, again coming on as a late substitute. First team opportunities were non-existent for him after this and after three more loan spells and sporadic appearances for the U21's, Marcello moved on in January 2015 to Serie B side AS Avellino.
