Noe Baba was a defender who played at Fulham from 2013 until 2015. A previous trialist at Man Utd, he was a centre back who could also play on the right or as a defensive midfielder. Noe was released during the summer of 2015 after being seen as surplus to requirements by Kit Symons.

Career[]

Before Fulham[]

Noe was born in Cameroon, but was brought up in the Republic of Ireland and played for Castlebar Celtic in their academy. It was here where he made real strides and began representing Ireland at youth International level, culminating in him becoming captain of the U17 side.

Fulham (2013-2015)[]

Fulham won the signature of Noe in the January transfer window of 2013, despite reports that suggested Man Utd were interested among others. He joined up with the U18 squad but saw little action for the remainder of the season, turning out for them on just four occasions due to injury. He found more playing time in 2013-14, where he played mainly as a centre-back, though struggled to become first choice with captain Liam Donnelly and Cameron Burgess the preferred pairing by manager Steve Wigley.

He was a mainstay in the U21 squad during 2014-15, however, he was released at the end of the season after failing to break into the first team.
