Ollie O'Neill is a central midfielder or left winger, currently playing for Fulham's academy. A Republic of Ireland U21 international, he signed a scholarship with the club ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Career

Before Fulham

Ollie played for Brentford's academy until it ceased in 2016.

Fulham (2016-2024)

Ollie made his debut for the U18 squad at the beginning of the 2018-19 season, starting in a 2-0 loss away to Aston Villa on 18 August 2018.

He made his U23 squad debut and his first professional appearance in the EFL Trophy against Peterborough United in October 2020, starting in a 4-2 loss. He captained the U18 squad during most of the latter half of 2020-21, and later won the 'Scholar of the Year' award for that season after his impressive displays in midfield.

Ollie was an unused substitute for the first team on 21 September 2021, a 0-0 draw against Leeds United at Craven Cottage in an EFL Cup tie. He went on to make his debut for the Republic of Ireland's U21 squad aged just 18 the following month during the international break.

After an impressive 2021-22 campaign, he signed a new three-year contract with the club in July 2022. He made a move on loan to Derry City on 16 February 2023 ahead of their new campaign in a deal that would run until August 2023.

After failing to push on into the first team, Ollie made the decision to leave the club once a suitor came in for him.

After Fulham

Ollie signed for Leyton Orient of League One for an undisclosed fee on 23 January 2024.
