Career

Fulham (2021-2023)

Paolo signed for Fulham on a free transfer on 24 July 2021 following his release from Tottenham Hotspur. He made his debut in the 2021-22 season's opener at home to Middlesbrough in a 1-1 draw. After a run of matches as first chice goalkeeper, he was dropped following a 4-1 loss to Coventry City on 2 October 2021, and Marek Rodák swiftly took his place.

After becoming third choice goalkeeper at the start of 2022-23 with the arrival of Bernd Leno, Paolo joined La Liga side Girona on a season-long loan.

After Fulham

His departure was confirmed by Fulham in the summer of 2023 and he was signed on a free transfer by Girona on 1 July.
