Career[]

Before Fulham[]

Reiss joined Arsenal when he was 8 years old, and was regularly playing above his age group throughout his time with their academy. He signed his first professional contract in December 2016 after turning 17.

He make his breakthrough to the first team in 2017, when manager Arsène Wenger had selected him to join the squad in pre-season. Shortly afterwards, he made his first professional appearance in the Community Shield when coming on as a second half substitute. His Premier League debut came later in the season after a handful of EFL Cup and Europa League appearances, when he came off the bench against Crystal Palace in January 2018.

Reiss was sent out on loan to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim for the duration of 2018-19, where he scored his first professional goal on his debut for them. After scoring six goals in his first seven appearances for the club, his form dropped off; this was in part due to an injury sustained, and failed to score any more goals for the remainder of the season.

After returning from his loan, he was brought into the first team squad once again, alongside his future Fulham teammate Emile Smith Rowe. This time around under new manager Unai Emery, he made several first team starts, but injured his knee in October 2019 which kept him out for a few months. He went on to score his first Arsenal goal in January 2020 in an FA Cup tie against Leeds United, but again suffered injury later in the month that kept him out for a further spell on the sidelines.

Under Mikel Arteta, he was continually used as an impact sub, and owing to his lack of minutes spent the 2021-22 season on loan to Feyenoord, managing 2 goals in 21 league appearances. Upon returning, he would again see his game time limited in 2022-23, however he managed to win Arsenal's Goal of the Season with a fantastic strike against Bournemouth on 4 March 2023.

Fulham (2024-present)[]

Reiss signed a season-long loan deal with Fulham on 30 August 2024; late on deadline day in the summer transfer window. It meant he would join up with his former-Arsenal teammates Bernd Leno, Alex Iwobi and Emile Smith Rowe.

He made his debut for the club off the bench as a seond half substitute during a 1-1 draw with West Ham United at Craven Cottage on 14 September 2024. His full debut came just days later, where he scored in a 1-1 draw away at Preston North End in the 3rd round of the EFL Cup, though Fulham lost 16-15 in a record-breaking penalty shoot-out. Then four days later, he came off the bench to score his first league goal for Fulham, scoring the third in a 3-1 win over Newcastle United.
