Ronny Minkwitz was a midfielder who played for Fulham's academy from 2010 until 2014. He signed for an undisclosed fee from German side Stuttgart in the summer of 2010 as a scholar for the U18 squad. His style of play impressed and was soon given the captain's armband as he led them to two national finals, including the U18 champions season in 2011-12. Injury halted his progress as a player and was eventually released in 2014 after failing to earn a new contract.
