Shane Elworthy played for the U18 squad as a full back or centre back from 2013 until 2016. One of the fittest members of the team during his stay, his energy and work rate were two of his most impressive attributes. He also represented Republic of Ireland up to U19 level.

Before Fulham

Shane grew up in Ireland where he played for St Kevin's Boys before his signature to Fulham

Fulham (2013-2016)

Shane signed a 1 year scholarship and 2 year professional contract with the club in July 2013 that would see him remain at the club until 2016. Shane was the third most appeared player in the U21 team in the 15/16 season. Shane failed to get a new contract for the 2016/17 season.

After Fulham

Shane returned to his native Ireland and signed for St Patrick's Athletic in the summer of 2016.
