Showkat Tahir played for Fulham's academy as a left winger from 2016 until 2019. He was signed from West London neighbours Brentford and has represented England at U16 level.

Career

Fulham (2016-2019)

Tahir moved to Fulham before the start of 2016-17, and made his debut for the U18 squad on the opening day of the season in a 3-2 loss away to Chelsea U18 aged 15.

He went on to sign a scholarship deal with the club on 1 July 2017 in a year that also saw him earn U16 caps for England along with fellow Fulham teammates George Wickens and Sylvester Jasper.

He was released from the club in the summer of 2019.

After Fulham

Tahir signed for non-league Cheshunt at the tail-end of 2019 for a short spell, which ended soon after. On 30 August 2021, he signed with Chesham United, playing for slightly over three months before leaving for the United States, as on 7 December 2021, Tahir joined North Carolina FC who played in the USL League One, the third tier of football in the US.
