Stanislav Manolev was on loan from PSV Eindhoven for the second half of the 2012-13 season, having been signed in the January transfer window of 2013. A right-back mainly, he was used on the right in midfield and has represented his country Bulgaria on over 20 occasions. He was brought in due to the departure of Stephen Kelly, and was mainly back-up to the impressive Sascha Riether.
