Stephen Kelly is a defender, formerly of Fulham who played as a right back. A Republic of Ireland international, he was signed from Birmingham in the summer transfer window of 2009 by Roy Hodgson, ahead of the inaugural Europa League campaign in which Fulham had qualified for. He enjoyed several runs in the first team, including a successful 2011-12 season, although his undoing at the club came the following season after Sascha Riether's arrival on loan. This forced Stephen to make only 2 league appearances from the bench all season until his eventual departure for an undisclosed fee to Reading in January 2013.
