Steven Sessegnon played for Fulham from 2008 until 2023. The twin brother of Ryan Sessegnon, he progressed through to the first team ranks after many years at the academy and found a spot at right back. He had represented England at several age groups up to U21 level.
Steven joined the club aged 9 with his twin brother Ryan, and has progressed through to the U18 squad. He signed a scholarship with the club in the summer of 2016.
He made his first team debut in August 2017, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 win at Wycombe Wanderers in an EFL Cup tie.
He made his League debut on 16 August 2019, in the Championship with a 2-1 victory away at Huddersfield Town.
He was sent out on loan to Championship side Bristol City for the 2020-21 season, along with teammate Alfie Mawson. Along with Alfie, Steven sustained an injury early into his loan move after pulling his hamstring in October 2020, briefly returning to Fulham for assessment.
He then spent the first half of the 2021-22 season back in the U23 squad, as new first team manager Marco Silva did not feature Steven in his plans, before a loan move on 31 January 2022 to Plymouth Argyle for the remainder of 2021-22.
Another loan move for Steven came before the start of the 2022-23 season, whereby he moved one a season-long deal to Charlton Athletic.
After Fulham[]
Steven was released by the club in the summer of 2023, and later signed a two-year contract with Wigan Athletic in League One.
