Willian played for Fulham as a winger from 2022 until 2024. A Brazilian international with 70 caps, he had previously spent eight years playing in the Premier League with Chelsea and Arsenal.

Before Fulham[]
Fulham (2022-2024)[]
After spending some time training with the first team as a free agent, Willian signed officially on 1 September 2022 (transfer deadline day) on a one year deal.
He made his debut two days later, coming off the bench during a 2-1 defeat away at Tottenham Hotspur. His first goal came the following month when he scored what proved to be the winning goal in a 3-2 victory away at Leeds United.
He quickly became first choice for Marco Silva on the left wing, further solidified by the season-ending injury to Neeskens Kebano. He scored his second goal on 12 January 2023, against his former club Chelsea, contributing to a 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage - the first time they had beaten their West London neighbours in nearly 17 years.
Willian won the Premier League's 'Goal of the Month' award in February 2023 for a fantastic strike against Nottingham Forest. The following month, he was sent off during a 3-1 loss away to Man Utd in the FA Cup, after preventing a goal by blocking the ball with his hand.
He scored a brace during a 5-3 win over Leicester City at Craven Cottage on 8 May 2023.
Although the club had offered Willian another one year deal with the option of extending by another season, he turned this offer down after reportedly wanting a two-year deal and left at the end of his contract. He was subsequently offered a deal to move to the Saudi Pro League, before nearly accepting another offer at Nottingham Forest. A new contract was announced with Fulham on 17 July 2023, meaning he would spend another year with the club with the option to extend another season.
After the departure of talisman Aleksandar Mitrović, he became the designated penalty taker for Fulham, and scored two spot-kicks in a 3-2 win over Wolves at Craven Cottage on 27 November 2023. He then scored a vital goal in the first leg of the EFL Cup Semi-final away at Liverpool during a 2-1 loss on 10 January 2024.
Despite being offered a one-year extension with the club, he decided against it and left the club in the summer of 2024.

Willian chose to sign a contract with Greek club Olympiacos on 2 September 2024.
