Xavier Benjamin played for Fulham's academy from 2012 until 2022. He broke through to the U18 squad in the 2019-20 season but struggled with injury and was eventually released.

Career

Fulham (2012-2022)

Xavier made his debut for the U18 squad on 4 January 2020, as he came off the bench in the second half during a 4-1 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur U18.

He struggled with injury for large portions of his early Fulham career, only managing eight appearances in 2020-21 for the U18's, and only playing the latter part of 2021-22 with them. He scored his first goal for the club in a 5-1 win over Brighton on 19 February 2022.

Xavier was one of a number of academy players who was released in the summer of 2022.

After Fulham

Xavier signed on a free transfer for Cardiff City immediately following his release from Fulham. In January 2024, he joined Dunfermline Athletic on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
