Zico Asare played as a defender for Fulham's academy from an early age until 2020. A quick and strong centre half who was capable of playing a holding midfield role, he had won international caps for England at U16 level.

Career

Fulham (?-2020)

Zico made his debut for the U18 squad in August 2016 and signed a scholarship deal the following year on 1 July 2017.

He progressed through to the U23 squad, where he spent all of the 2019-20 season but was released from the club in the summer of 2020.

After Fulham

After a year without being attached to a club, Zico sign for Oxford City on 11 June 2021. After a single season with them he moved on the following summer to Maidenhead United.
